After enjoying a highly successful career in manufacturing management, Jay became a REALTOR in 1971. Within the first 6 months of his new career in real estate, he was among the top 4 percent of the company’s 700 salespeople nation-wide. Jay remained among the top salespeople for 3 consecutive years, and was then invited to join the sales management team. Within 5 months, his leadership catapulted the office’s national ranking from 33rd to 8th.
Jay was promoted to the position of District Sales Manager, responsible for 10 real estate offices in 1975. His district achieved a new sales record of $175 million. Prior to joining Gloriod & Associates, Jay also managed a prominent RE/MAX franchise.
Jay’s award-winning real estate sales and management career includes two billion in personal and managed sales. On September 21, 2007, Congressman Doug Lamborn installed Jay as the Chairman of the Pikes Peak Association of REALTOR.
